Red Carpet Studios Challenge #85: New Year's Eve

It's time for a New Way to play at Red Carpet Studios Challenge Blog and I'm super excited about it! If you haven't been over to the blog, go and see all the paper crafting fun we've been having and will be having EVERY WEEK! You can go HERE to see all the guidelines and rules. (I'm also posting them below my project because we have updated the challenge rules!)

So our first challenge of the New Year 2015 is the movie, "New Year's Eve". The theme is to use stars and something new in your paper craft project. (Again, check out the Challenge Blog for all the details!)

The Star:  If you follow my blog, you realize I've been trying to finish up my Art Journal before a year's time. (I was hoping by the end of 2014 but since I didn't begin the journal until late January last year, I figured I was still in my one year time frame. So I haven't disqualified myself yet!) So I used the theme as an opportunity to get a page done. The page has a background of Dylusions sprays and a stencil from Joggles which was my New item. Love it! The stamp quote is pretty new to me and is from Unity Stamps. Needed to destash some rhinestones so I went ahead and blinged out the star. I also added a touch of white gelato around the star to give it a glow.

If you haven't seen my previous Art Journal Pages you can go HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE. Then, watch for new posts with the title Art Journal 2014.

Have a great week! Be sure to check out the NEW RULES for the Red Carpet Studio Challenge Blog! We've got great sponsors with great prizes to randomly give out EACH MONTH. So you don't have to get your projects done in a week! (Seriously, please read the rules below! Then feed my fish, will ya?)

"New Year's eve is like every other night; there is no pause in the march of the universe, no breathless moment of silence among created things that the passage of another twelve months may be noted; and yet no man has quite the same thoughts this evening that come with the coming of darkness on other nights." ~Hamilton Wright Mabie
