CAS Challenge #64: Colour Challenge

Another card for a challenge! This time over at CAS: Colours and Sketches.

I saw the colors of this challenge and just had to make a card with the Distress Colors that were pretty close: Dusty Concord, Milled Lavender, and Scattered Straw.
I've been trying to "master" the Clean and Simple card style and I'm getting there.

Purple Pansy: Just an A2 size white glossy cardstock base to start. I stamped the pansy (100 Proof Press) and colored it in. Then stamped the Bee (100 Proof Press) in yellow. I went around the bee with a black fine tip Sharpie to make it stand out as the yellow was a bit light. I added some fine line border stickers (Hot off the Press) and colored the same yellow between to make a ribbon effect.

I stamped the sentiment (Hot off the Press) with black archival ink (Ranger). I decided it needed something else so I splattered the same ink colors for a confetti look.

I think there will be more of these cards in my future!
