Red Carpet Studios: Pretty in Pink

I'm not sure how Red Carpet Studios knew that I had a small stack of pink matting papers laying in my scraps pile but those papers were perfect for the newest theme: Pretty In Pink.

Now I've not seen many of the brat pack movies, even though I am a child of the '80s, but pink is my niece's favorite color. It hasn't always been a favorite of mine. I went through a period in college when I despised the color. It was too girly-girl for me. But now, I find it feminine without offense. It reminds me of little girls and their imaginations of being princesses. It's soft and uncomplicated.

It surprised me how much pink I had laying around my craft table so I just put it all to good use. Clever cutting, a bit of bling, a ribbon for survival, and an epoxy embellishment make the card what it is.

I do believe it is Pretty in Pink.
