More Pattern Play

Another from Day One:

Celebrate: Mixing of patterns with shading done on green piece.

Day Two:

Birthday wishes: The "peace" is a emboss resist and I used Walnut Stain Distress Ink to darken the background and cover up all the other distracting words. The bottom picture shows the paper before inking on the right.

Day Three:

 

Blue Poppies: Loved this idea of breaking up a large pattern. This was one of the only Large patterns I could find in my stash and I think it would look just as good as a single piece on the card front. But I experimented with the idea and I do like how it looks. I guess large patterns aren't really my problem!
